About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer as part of the Technology for Chief Operating Office that will be supporting the Core Engineering and Data team. The Lead Software Engineer should be able to act as a technical expert, analyze business requirements and work collaboratively with other IT team members within the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of Java, Java EE experience
  • 3+ years of Tomcat development or implementation experience
  • 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 3+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
  • 2+ years of JIRA experience
  • 3+ years of Agile experience
  • 2 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a microservice-based project.
  • SOA (Services Oriented Architecture) experience
  • Kafka Events experience
  • API web-based programming experience
  • Cloud experience using Dockers, Kubernetes in Azure is a plus
  • Middleware development experience is a plus.

The Test Engineer will be a member of the HAV Operations team with responsibilities for the test and validation of the board and chassis level testing of Siemens Hardware products for Emulation and Prototyping systems. This will require close cooperation with the hardware design and factory test teams to develop efficient test across board and system level test processes.

In this role, you will:

Responsibilities

  • Develop assembly and test methodologies/plans for Siemens range of hardware products thru NPI and production phases
  • Ensure accurate manufacturing and validation test coverage for Siemens Hardware by collecting design gaps in the development phase and screening out manufacturing assembly defects before they are shipped.
  • Collaborate with HW/FW/SW teams to participate in design reviews, define functional test coverage, pass/fail criteria, manufacturing test features and system level test requirements.
  • Develop test methodology and specifications to verify and validate HW designs against functional, performance and reliability requirements, in both development and production environments.
  • Ability to lead and drive projects to closure
  • Ability to code for bug-fixes, delivering optimizations to quickly enable testing, developing wrappers around binary images as needed
  • Early engagement with cross functional development teams to drive DFT requirements
  • Research into test/validation technologies to support efficient production level testing
  • Work with design teams to develop test plans for PCBA at board and system level
  • Ability to debug technologies for PCBA, Fiber Optics, Fireflies, High-Speed Interconnects, PCIe and Power electronics subsystems
  • Development experience with automation frameworks using Python, PERL or Shell to create efficient and operator friendly test interface
  • Develop test fixtures or perform DOE for custom hardware
  • Experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting hardware in a laboratory environment
  • Report and quantify test and yield data for production monitoring
  • Maintain factory test and network infrastructure to support high volume production across various manufacturing sites
  • Must be flexible to work in dynamic fast paced environment
  • Able to lift or move 25 lbs hardware as needed

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or Computer Science, related filed or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of overall experience in PCBA production testing and System Integration Testing
  • Experience with test automation development using Python or shell
  • Travel overseas to support factory requirements (estimated 10%)
  • Experience working in data center and networking environment Experience with Linux systems and deployment, build root images
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals in PCIe, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

The salary range for this position is $95,800 to $172,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for Mechanical Maintenance activities of all related Power Plant Equipment as assigned. Some of the common duties will be but not limited to, valve repair/replacement, lubrication of equipment, filter changing & cleaning, system leak repair, component & driver alignment, bearing repairs & replacement, component replacement, general industrial maintenance, housekeeping, training and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Some MIG / TIG / and Stick Welding may be required. The Mechanical Technician will follow the Plant Safety Procedures and the Plant LOTO (Lock-out Tag-out System) at all times. The Maintenance Technician reports to the APM and will be supporting the Maintenance and Operational readiness of the generation facility, including but not limited to the gas turbine, boiler, steam turbine, generator, auxiliary equipment, and other plant equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must understand and follow plant safety policies at all times.
  • Documents all work activities as directed by the APM.
  • Follows training plans as assigned and directed.
  • Performs troubleshooting and documentation, and assist in the resolution of problems.
  • Works with the CMMS system to ensure precise input of items as required.
  • Capable of following and/or providing precise detailed instructions to other maintenance personnel as required.
  • Ensures LOTO (Lock-out / Tag-out) system compliance at all times.
  • Performs mechanical assemblies / disassemblies, valve packing, lubrication, and other general maintenance activities.
  • Assess individual job requirements for safety at all times.
  • Completes work orders and other assignments on schedule as required.
  • Performs general housekeeping per company policy.
  • Ensures compliance of safety policies, practices and procedures.
  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Works with other departments and personnel as required for plant success.
  • Provides input/documentation for parts, tools, and safety equipment as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge in welding, millwright work, lubrications, hydraulics, valves, parts, tools and other items related to the industry and maintenance.
  • Thorough knowledge of equipment isolation and tagging procedures.
  • Ability to respond to plant abnormal situations, alarms, and emergencies.
  • Must be alert to working environment for possible hazards.
  • Must be capable of interpreting plant & equipment manuals for precise maintenance activities.
  • Thorough knowledge of the location, purpose and proper use of the plant safety equipment, including fire fighting techniques.
  • Must be able to work alone for routine duties performed with minimal supervision; standard practices or procedures.
  • Receives guidance with respect to general objectives; in the majority of tasks and projects assigned, determines methods, work sequences, scheduling, and methods to achieve objectives of assignments; operates within specific policy guidelines.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

  • Duties require frequent walking, standing for extended periods of time, crawling, stooping, sitting, climbing vertical and inclined ladders and stairs, operation of large valves and other tasks requiring up to 50 lbs. of pulling or turning force, and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Exposure to extreme heat and cold.
  • Working in varied outdoor environments such as all-weather conditions, all noise levels, hazardous conditions, and on the full range of outdoor work surfaces.
  • Working in proximity to high voltages and current with proper training and equipment, operating heavy equipment and rolling stock and entering confined spaces or hazardous environments may be required while often being exposed to equipment and machinery noises.
  • All candidates will participate in the post-offer drug screening.

Education / Experience:

  • 12 years of formal education (High School Graduate) or equivalent is required.
  • Five years of Industrial Mechanical Maintenance in one of the related fields such as Millwright, Welding, Pipefitting, Boiler Maker, etc.
  • Experience in CMMS systems and work item tracking and reporting is required.
